Append echo to privilege files using Sudo

how to append to privileged files using SUDO command.

echo 'some text to append to file' | sudo tee -a /path/to/privilege.file

example :

echo "mount --bind /var/www/html/mysite.com.my /home/sftponly/userlimited/web_mysite" | sudo tee -a /opt/runbind.sh

tee -a = append to existing files; by default tee command overwrites the file.
